Meet Your Bookkeeper
My name is Betty Woodall. I love what I do, and I am passionate about helping individuals and business owners succeed. With over 40 years of experience in business, I have accumulated a strong knowledge of record keeping, financial auditing, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial and operations management, human resources, and strategic planning.
I was born in trades. My dad was a carpenter and painter, brothers and family members owned their own roofing, electrical and HVAC companies. I was ‘go fer’ long before my first job babysitting. It was
that beginning that spiked my interest in real estate and flipping houses, long before “flipping houses” was a thing. I went to work for a long-haul trucking company. Learning all aspects of the trucking
business, becoming a terminal manager. I went on to own and operate a freight brokerage with a small fleet of trucks for many years.
In 2004, I left the transportation industry and became an entrepreneur
and real estate agent and investor. In 2017, a person driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, hit me head on. That accident forever changed my life. I was on a walker and could no longer climb stairs and inspect properties. I had done my own bookkeeping for many years and had volunteered at nonprofits over the years helping others complete their taxes. I love helping others. I truly enjoy seeing
others succeed.
I applied to the IRS for preparer tax identification number, began classes in tax preparation and bookkeeping training. I went to work for a national tax service. I became a store manager, then became a trainer for their new tax preparers. During the off season I was keeping books and helping small business owners grow their business. In 2021, I began my own company. Virtual Business Solutions Services and Virtual Bookkeeping Solutions Service. I know what goes into owning and growing a business and keeping track of all the assets and liabilities.
Because of my experience and knowledge, I know what it takes for a business to succeed. As a professional tax practitioner and bookkeeper, I know the importance of knowledgeable, accurate bookkeeping. I would love the opportunity to introduce myself and to get to know you and your business better.
